Will Idris Elba Be a Better Replacement For James Bond?

I thought we are so enlightened worldwide and have gotten over the era of Apartheid. But hey, i was totally wrong. Recently there was a leak in Sony and it was discovered that Sony is deciding on who the next James Bond will be. Idris Elba's name came up and he is up for consideration.


When i heard of this particular news, i was so excited because i know this will make me watch James Bond movies again. Even in my happiness, some bad belle people are not happy about it.

A conservative radio host Rus Limbaugh who people know to be the man who speaks his mind. He believes the more controversial an issue is the more interesting it becomes.

Now this man recently made a comment about Idris Elba being the new James Bond. He says

“James Bond is a total concept put together by Ian Fleming, He was white and Scottish, period. That is who James Bond is. We’ve had 50 years of white Bonds because Bond is white, Bond was never Black...''

So because Idris Elba is black and not Scottish, he is not qualified to be James Bond abi??

For me, the only way i can watch James Bond movie again is if i can see something different and i think having Idris Elba as the new James Bond will be fantastic. What do you guys think?
