Just yesterday my colleagues compared Nigeria to Iraq, saying they are better than us(Nigerians) in terms of terrorism. I out rightly shouted "No Oh...Abeg''. But when i got home and had a deep thought, i realized to an extent they are right.
Now this so-called Islamic sect are killing people virtually everyday. Some we hear about the casualties but others we don't. Nigerians have stopped reading any news related to Boko Haram that has these headlines "Boko Haram Kills 50 people...'' . We are now use to it.
Sometimes i wonder why humans can be so wicked to one another. What is their mission? Is this really a political sect organized to jeopardize GEJ regime as people claim? What really is boko haram?
Boko Haram is derived from Hausa and Arabic origin. Boko comes from the hausa word meaning ''Animist or western'' and Haram from Arabic word means ''sin or forbidden''.
This group is a controversial Islamic militant group that seeks for the sharia law to be in all the northern states.
Their mission is to eliminate anything western - western culture, western education, western science, western everything.
The group was founded in 2002 by Ustaz Mohammed Yusuf in Maiduguri. Through this group, thousands of people have lost their lives as a result of the sect violent act.
The sect led by Yusuf, took advantage of the poor quality of our educational system, the incessant strike, cult activities, widespread malpractices and prostitution that is made worse with no offer of job after graduation to lure many youths to abandoned schools and embrace Yusuf’s new and emerging state that promises to offer them a better education.
He also took advantage of the irresponsible leadership of all level of government, poverty, corruption and insecurity. Since the group started their devilish activities, it has been from one bomb blast to the other, from kidnapping school girl to kidnapping school boys.
In 2009, Mohammed Yusuf was captured by the army and handed over to the police. While in police custody, he was killed with the claim that he died from a gun fight. Some report say that he died immediately after the Governor Ali Modu Sheriff visited him in prison. What probably did he tell Ali Modu? No one knows in Asa's voice.
Painfully, his death robbed Nigerians the opportunity of knowing who is behind Boko Haram and the main reason why.
The government has really not helped us at all, statements regarding boko haram are being made from them without caution.

''...I will make Nigerian ungovernable if i don't win this election..'' - Buhari
''...we saw the identity cards of top politicians at Boko Haram nest..'' - Federal Government
All these leaders make statements that baffles me and make me question their leadership skills. They should be probed and arrested too...What do you think? Because it seems they know a lot about it than we think, its not just mere statement to me sha.
About the allegation raised by Stephen Davis on Ali Modu's involvement in Boko Haram, when asked during a press conference if he was truly involved, he he burst out into tears and said;
''I have no association with any terrorists anywhere I have never met the group. I cannot be a sponsor of a group I have not met before. I don’t have foot soldiers'' My name has been mentioned for political reasons over the attacks of Boko Haram. I have been accused unfairly in connection with Boko Haram since I left office...Story for the Gods, in Olamide's voice.
To crown it all, there were reports that the father in law of Mohammed Yusuf, Baba Fugu jejely on his own surrendered himself to police custody for protection. Also he was killed. His son came out to say the Police force killed him.
Imagine, vital people that would have put an end to this sect a long time ago were killed. What really is the government hiding?
Why did Ali Modu Sheriff give us that fake tears? Did he not learn from our first lady that crying makes you look stupid?
My mum use to say if you are asked why you stole the meat from the pot and the first thing you do is to start crying and saying its not you, then you are the one.
The Australian negotiator claims he has more names. My question is why didnt he release the names of others? Even me don dey doubt this man credibility small small.
Reports are beginning to fly up and down stating that Alii Modu is a victim of the sect vengeance for killing their founder Mohammed Yusuf. Hence Boko Haram paid the Australian negotiator to implicate him.
He says he wants to sue Stephen for defamation of character, i suggest he should. Yes, because Mr Stephen Davis made mention that he has proof to show Ali Modu Sheriff is actually involved and also that he is ready for any court case which will involve them coming to Australia as he doesn't believe in our judicial system...shame!!!
So why the fake tears? If you are innocent, then sue him.

#1 My take on Davis, is that BH will never name it sponsors to a negotiator, when they are not even under torture!
#2 The former Army chief BH mention, was the man who arrested & almost wiped out all BH members during his tenure
#3 If you can vividly remember, it was Buhari and cohorts that applied for release of the BH members abt 643 then!
#4 Because of how the Army chief dealt with BH that time, Northerner were calling for him to be probe for genocide
