Is Working For God Profitable? Maheeda says it wasn't working for her!!!

Reading about our culture,i realized that there are certain things before now we consider as an abomination. Like it is an abomination for;

                                ...for a woman to sleep with a woman!
                               ...for a man to sleep with a fellow man!
                         ...for a woman to be disvirgined before marriage!

People then (In the old days) were ashamed to venture into doing anything that will be an abomination to the land.
But today, who cares? You see women strip naked all in the name of dressing sexy. You see people coming out to shout "We no go gree oh" because a bill was passed against gay people in Nigeria. You also see sex workers coming out to say "Please make our profession legal...hmmm... you also see women proud to talk about their sexual life in public!!

The story Maheeda is one that i know a lot of us have heard about. Not for anything positive but for the fact that she is the queen of nudity (She and Afrocandy- the porn lady, dey drag position ...smh). See more pictures

 
Just recently she came to my office dressed in shorts and a crop top. A lot of men where admiring her. They all kept saying "Wow who is this sexy mama".

I went up to them and replied "Don't you know Maheeda?'' They all said who is Maheeda? They did not know who Maheeda is but when i said the girl who always shows her body online, everyone shouted "ohhhhh". They remembered her by her nudity.

This is a gospel singer that turned to a porn star overnight. A mother of one beautiful angel. This makes me ask the question- What happened? Is it that following Christ wasn't profitable? I leave you to be the judge...

Recently she granted an Interview with Vanguard Newspaper and here are some interesting questions and answers that makes me wonder if women have lost their identity, their culture!!

Question: What message are you trying to convey with your nude pictures and videos?

Response: I don't know if am trying to convey any message or am just doing my business. I think am just entertaining my fans.

Question: Have you ever been approached by someone who is willing to pay you for sex?

Response: Yes, alot of them around the world. But i turn them down because of my husband.

Question:Lets assume your husband is not around and you want to have sex...

Response: I masturbate and also make use of sex toys

Question:You were a gospel singer, why did you decide to switch?

Response: Gospel wasn't really working. However, inside me i dont think making money in the name of God was what i really wanted.You can sing and make money in the name of God but deep inside me, it wasn't working. So i said if i wanted to make money, let me just make money without holding the bible..

Do you agree with Maheeda? Does it mean that holding the bible and working for God doesn't serve one money? To Maheeda it doesn't. But what do you think?
