In the years I have stayed on planet earth, almost 30years, I have had good and wonderful friends...and I also had bad and terrible friends. I am someone who takes a friend to be like my sister, so I have this ideology that since you are in the place of my sister, you should be able to tell me when am right and when am wrong.
Telling me when am right and wrong in the sense that you accept that no one is perfect, and when it comes to making you upset, you should be able to tell this person you call "friend" how their actions or words hurt you. But when you rather keep it inside and then start narrating to people outside about how you were being hurt by the person you call friend and couldn't confront him or her, that's when I call you "bad friend" and flee one thousand steps from you.
Elbert Hubbard says "A friend is someone who knows all about you and still loves you".
Now back to the reason why I decided to put up a write up about friends. I discovered that I have missed my good friend Sumbo Pinheiro so much. She was a friend who I call a sister and never let's me down. We are so good at borrowing money from each other, but now that she has carried her yeye legs to Germany, there is no one I can borrow money from *tears dropping*.
In other words, I miss you Sumbo Pinheiro.
Am glad that i have people around me (1 or 2 though) who i can boldly call friends...
Am glad i was able to put myself in the position of being a friend, which attracted others to me. I don't keep lots of friends, but if out of a 100, i single 2 out...then they are really special beings who spiced up my life...
One of Barney and friends songs inspires me a lot and it says...
Friends are special so important, they make the world go 'round
We like helping one another in school or on the playground
Friends are there to help each other when one is feeling sad
Being friends is very special, be a friend and you'll be glad...
