8 Years Old Boy Smuggled in a Suitcase Granted Permission to Stay in Spain

8years old Adou Ouattara who was found in a suitcase that was smuggled across the border into Spain has been granted temporary permission to stay so he can be reunited with his mother.
On May 7, police found this 8years old boy curled up and covered by blankets inside a suitcase without air vents at a border checkpoint in Ceuta in North Africa.
Report says that the suitcase was being taken through a pedestrian border by a 19years old woman whose identity has not been released.

His father Ali Ouattara was arrested at the same border on charges of human rights abuse. The man who is from Ivory Coast lives legally with the boy's mother and sister in Spain Canary Island but his son who was smuggled lacked permission to join them there due to family's low income.
Immigration authorities have now granted the boy authorization to live Spain for one year.
