Three Kids Kinapped by Nanny Found in lagos

I have been following this story waiting for their safe return, but thanks be to God, the Orekoya's family can smile again. Last week, the news broke on the internet on how three children were kidnapped by a nanny gotten from OLX, an online medium a day after her employment.
The nanny and her accomplice days later called the family and demanded for N15 million which after much begging was reduced to N13 million.

In  an interview on channels TV, a police source revealed that the kidnappers who was faced with immense pressure generated by the incident abandoned the children in Shasha area of Lagos State. The Police however urged the public to contact the Police before employing anyone to come work in their houses so that adequate profiling can be made.

The children were immediately taken to the hospital for observation and have since re-united with their parents.

Meanwhile, the online portal OLX, where the nanny was gotten from in a statement made by the Country manager Lola Masha said that the kidnap of the children was an unfortunate situation.

“It is an online classified site that brings buyers and sellers together to promote trade. The site takes steps to moderate and review all ads but does not participate in the negotiations between buyers and sellers as Transactions are performed directly between both parties”. The company had, in all its marketing campaign, continuously urged its users to take necessary precautionary checks when using the site''. 

They therefore urged its users to help kick out bad players by reporting any dubious activity or user on the site for immediate action.
