Mother of Kidnapped Children in Trauma

The parents of the three children kidnapped by a nanny on Wednesday 8th April, 2015, yesterday said they are still struggling and trying to raise the sum of N13 million as ransom demanded by the kidnappers for their release. The kidnappers who initially demanded N15m later reduced it to N13 million last Friday after enough begging from the parents of the kidnapped kids.

It should be known that the children, Demola, 6, Adedamola 4 and Aderomola 11 months were taken away from their apartment in Surulere, Lagos by the nanny gotten from an online platform OLX  24 hours after she was employed.
The nanny identified as Akinloye, 23years old comes from Ibadan, Oyo State and resumed work as a caregiver on the 7th of March due to the fact that the family needed a nanny so urgent as the former nanny resigned.
A source close to the family says that the whole family is in trauma.
''The children's mother is a shadow of her old self. She is devastated. She loves all her children no doubt, but she is concerned more about 11 months old Aderomola. She never ceases ro call out to him everyday, wondering what type of food he was being fed with''.
Police is however still investigating the kidnapping and putting in effort to rescue to children.
