President Goodluck Jonathan and Wife Cast their Vote

Despite the hiccup earlier encountered, the president and his wife finally cast their vote. He used the medium to appeal to all Nigerians to bear with INEC. He stated that this is the first time Card reader is being used in Nigeria and we should bear with INEC as they have directed that in some polling unit where the card reader is not working, they can make use of the manual procedure.

He pleaded with all those who have waited for hours at polling unit that they should be patient. He however said he does not blame anybody, not the police, INEC or the presidency.
He also mentioned that he is very hopeful that he will emerge as the winner and that he is very convinced that the election  will be free, fair and credible. The president made it known that he voted for himself and for PDP in all aspects of the election.
