Jungle Justice- Woman stripped naked, beatenover alleged child theft

Oh how i hate Jungle Justice. I think its time for the government to do something about it. Its becoming unbearable. People are wrongfully accused and beaten to death. Read the story of how this woman escaped from the hands of people who were ready to burn her alive.

Some resident of Agwa community in Oguta local government area of Imo State took laws into their hands when they descended on a middle-aged woman identified as Chioma, and almost beat her to death after stripping her naked and parading her around the town.

Her crime was an alleged accusation of stealing a one-year-old baby boy from a motor park where he was left to sleep by the mother.

According to eyewitnesses, Chioma had noticed the child's mother leaving him to buy some sachets of water and immediately swooped in to steal the baby and was sneaking out of the park when luck ran out on her and she was caught and the baby retrieved from her.

The angry crowd quickly descended on her, stripping her naked and was almost on the verge of setting her ablaze when the police came to her rescue.
