A documentary on BBC have revealed the state and conditions of the chicken used at KFC. The images shows tens of thousands of Chickens kept together in huge sheds alive for just 35 days before they are gassed.
They are then chopped into nine pieces and sent to warehouses in large trays where they are then distributed to branched nationwide
Animal rights campaigners have come out to decry the state at which the chicken are being taken care of and calls it oppressive..
Andre Tyler, director of animal aid said
''These birds have no meaningful life. They endure a wretched existence in giant windowless shed stinking with ammonia. A very large number of them die from starvation or dehydration.
