The representative of the Peoples Democratic Party
at the Presidential Collation Centre, Elder. Godday Orubebe has accused the
chairman of Independent National Electoral Commission, Prof. Attaihiru Jega of
bias over his failure to investigate the party protest letter on the election
in Kano, Katsina, Jigawa. According to him ‘’ Prof Jega is being tribalistic
and partial’’
Mr. Orubebe noted that while Jega set up a committe
to investigate the protest letter of APC on Rivers election, he rejected the
letter of PDP on Kano, Jigawa, Katsina and Kadunna.
“Jega threw our letter at us, saying that he will
not investigate. Jega cannot be selective, he cannot be tribalist”.
Orubebe insisted that he wouldn’t leave the stage until Jega stops
calling the results. Eventually he was taken off stage and the announcement of
the results continued.
Prof. Jega told him to behave himself as a former minister.

The biggest fool of the year! After his gray hairs he knowns no process. What a shame.
His further explanation as to why he behaved like that make sense.
If Jega set up a meeting and investigated Rivers based on APC petition he should accord the same opportunity to PDP.
Let's be objective
@okotie Mueyiwa he has no reason so what ever for a man of his status in a democratic ground behave such.
He Shldnt be seen or given any public post for 2 years. And openly accusing someone without an evidence, that is foolishness. If he was my dad, by now my text messages must hV made him book the next flight out of Nigeria.
It's only an observation for crying out loud and he almost pulled an act that would hv set the whole country on Fire.
He is such a stupid man. what was it that was itching his bumbum that he could nhot wait to discuss it late?He looked like a fool laying on the floor and ranting like a woman. Even though he has a right to do that and his reasons are very cogent he still should have waited.
I agree he could have handled himself and the situation better but that is democracy and the the beauty of democracy. Or is it not?
