Alright enough of the talk, let me tell you how to make it.
Ingredients
- Palm Oil
- Potash
- Tomatoes
- pepper
- Onion
- snail
- dry fish
- Seasoning
- Salt
- Unripe Plaintain or yam
- beef
- Pumpkin
Step 1- wash your beef and then put on fire to cook, add your Maggi, salt and slice your onion into it.
Step 2- While your meat is cooking, break your snail and wash it with Alum, then when its clean enough put it on fire in a separate pot to cook as well.
Step 3- Blend your tomatoes, pepper and onions together
Step 4- Get your clean pot and pour in the blended tomatoes
Step 5- Add your cooked meat and slightly cooked snail to the tomatoes already boiling
Step 6: Add your washed smoked fish and cover the pot for 3 minutes
Step 7: Take your potash and pour into the boiling sauce. Please not too much potash, the size of your tomato sauce will determine the amount of potash you put into it.
Step 8- Don't cover the pot, leave it open on fire to cook for another 4 minutes
Step 9- Add your Pumpkin vegetable
Step 10- Bring it down and allow it to cool down
Step 11- Once you noticed its cool, take your palm oil and pour three cooking spoon of oil into it and stir until it becomes think
Voila, your owo soup is ready
For me i love taking it with Plantain, what i do is that i boil my plantain with the green back. i don't peel it. you can try it out.

Owo does better with unripe plantain.Correct edo lady
Delta Oghwo is still the best for me as an urhobo lady...lol
