Breaking the FEAR Barrier

Day after day, minute after minute, second after second and hour after hour, I ask myself if this is it... Living in fear is one of the terrible gift you can give yourself.
Every day before leaving the house, you pray for His grace to make it through. You also wonder if you won't be turned back at the gate. You check your mail at every red light that pops up because of fear of the unknown.
At first it started well, we all wanted the same thing- To be the best at what we do. And we strive every day to make it work. We knew the task ahead was a serious one and needed to get ourselves equipped.
I still remember vividly, how I struggled to make it here and was not ready to let laziness creep in.
Along the line, people were dropped. You may think they didn't struggle enough, but they did. It’s just unfortunately that on the day the cat decided to come out, due to its hungry stomach, the first rat it sees becomes his meal!!! FACTS OF LIFE

is this a jungle?

Should there be justice?

Should I let this cat win and have me for dinner?

We let fear destroy a good relationship...we let fear destroy our goals and aspiration...we let fear destroy our mission...should i let this fear stop me? Hell No, I refuse to let it. I dare you FEAR...
"Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. Because the Lord is with me..."
So today i have decided to shake off the fear and put on a new cloak - a cloak of GRACE. I have no choice but to win. I have no choice but to keep on fighting. After all, the road to success is not smooth...but I won't let it slow me down.
A particular quote used by Nelson Mandela and also in a movie titled spelling bee inspires me;
‘’Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us most. We ask ourselves, 'Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and famous?' Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It's not just in some of us; it's in all of us. And when we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.”

If tomorrow comes, my story will be- I fought my fears today to make it here.

What will yours be?

You are not far from the truth Sarah, but strenght or courage should not be seen only from a religious back ground, it is innate in all men and women but the ability to tap into it when faced with fears and uncertainty is what separate the winner from the looser . Just like a soldier on a battle field who knows when to hit the trigger and aim correctly at the target when engaged.
So many people allow fear to rob them of their reasoning, halt their happiness, or derail them from their dreams.
I have learnt that the novice can often see things that the expert overlooks. All that is necessary is not to be afraid of making mistakes, or of appearing naive.
Just decide that you want it more than you are afraid of it and you will conquer fear.
We have to confront our own fears, must come face to face with them.
How we handle our fears will determine where we go with the rest of our lives.
To experience adventure or to be limited by the fear of it.
