Am back again but this time with so much pain in my heart.
Just heard the news that a great friend and former colleague Tunde Brown just passed on. Its so painful that i wish tears can bring him back. I have been so lucky in my life that i have never lost anybody so close to me. But now i feel the pains anyone who has lost a loved one felt.
I even feel much pains and this is because sometime in March he asked me to re-add him on my BBM and i was too busy to do so. Now he is dead and i hold on to that. This just made me think real deep...If you have any one around you, you consider as friend, make sure you constantly keep in touch because you dont know when they will be gone from you forever.
In the catholic prayer of the cross booklet there is a saying "we will all die a day we do not know, are you prepared for it'' and the response goes like this "...Lord, help me to get ready so that the d-day whenever it comes will not be a shock to me''. Its so painful when a loved one goes to rest in heavenly places.
My dear friend, words fail me in describing how much i truly admire you. Am not a poet but for now let me summarize it in this poem of mine...
I knew you when i needed someone with so much zeal and commitment to growth to motivate me
I remember you saying to me ''Sarah, dont let anything stop you"
Your smile, so soft and calm without any form of hatred or jelousy
Your words, well ultered and full of wisdom
You had so much talent in you that amazes me
Its so painful to see a rare gem go like that when alot still awaits for you to accomplish
I can't question God, but one thing i would say to Him is thank you Lord for making me know this wonderful man (Tunde Brown).
Rest in peace my great friend and brother
Last words to me on facebook..."Sarah, because you are blessed, and only God determines what happens in a day...His thoughts concerning u are good to give u an expected end". This was what you said to me Tunde.
Am so sorry i didn't add you up on blackberry immediately...so sorry!!!
Rest in peace my great friend once again, till we meet to part no more...
*tears*
RIP TUNDE BROWN
