A Trip To Benin Republic 😇
I
had the best Easter celebration ever and all thanks to @socialprefect (follow her
on instagram) for making that happen. I desperately needed somewhere to go
relax, explore new opportunities, meet people and of course exhale from the
stress and wahala of Lagos state and when I saw that she was planning an Easter
tour to Benin Republic, I immediately jumped into it.
My
experience in Benin Republic was indeed a pleasant one and I will be sharing
with you the beautiful places I visited. I spent only two nights but I made
sure that every minute was filled with memories.

Lies Nigeria Men Tell
In
my years of dating I have come to realize that some men have PHD in lying. Oh
my good Jesus, it is in their DNA!
Most
times men lie but they also have their reasons for lying to us. Now it’s only
natural to feel terrible when you just discovered the man you love has lied to
you. It hurts. It throws you off balance. It makes you angry. It messes
with your emotions and makes you question your own self-worth.
I
remember how the first guy I dated lied to me about a particular girl I
always see him with, he told me she was his sister and I believed. Until his
younger sister revealed to me that she wasn’t his sister but his girlfriend
and he had asked them to also play along but because they love me, they had to
tell me the truth. That experience killed me sha.
I
had to go back to my bible to read about the creation of man and how lie originated.
From creation, lies originated from the serpent that tempted Eve in the Garden
of Eden to eat the forbidden fruit. Who was the serpent? Was it a man or a woman that used the body of the ''beast of the field'' to tempt Eve? According to the free dictionary;

Dear Woman, You're a Queen👑
Have
you ever looked at yourself in the mirror and scored how you look below
average? Such moments when a closer look reveals your insecurities and flaws!
If you have, that makes two.
There
was a time in my life when I questioned how I looked and this was based on
other people's opinion of me. I kept on asking myself these questions;
-
I'm I beautiful?
-
I'm I sexy?
-
I’m I smart and Intelligent enough?
-
Have I found my purpose?
-
Do I have what it takes to be a queen?
These
questions gave room for low self esteem to creep in. According to Urban
dictionary, it defines low self esteem as;
''...feeling
unworthy, incapable and incompetent.''
I
knew I had to do something and get rid of the feeling of not being worthy and
competent enough for anything good to come my way, I knew I had to fight the
spirit of low self esteem. I also knew I wasn't seeing myself as a result
of God's divine creation. While I was struggling with how to get rid of this
feeling, the Holy Spirit directed me to some scriptures;

Is Love Really Enough?
I'm always of the opinion that love is definitely not enough to keep a marriage together.
I find this write up by Alasan Abel very interesting. Please take your time and read it till the end.
It was magical! All the excitement that had filled my system since he proposed. Butterflies flying in my stomach
The silent giggles whenever his thoughts or face flashed through my mind
And then the D-day came
Obviously the event planners knew their onions
The arrangement and planning was on point
Family,guest all had a nice time
Did I forget to mention the honeymoon? Far away in Hawaii
Donald Trump Won. What next?
First blog post in months and its all dedicated to the first citizen of the United States of America,Donald Trump.
Congratulations to all those who believed and voted for Trump to be the President of United States.
My candidate was Hillary Clinton and even though she didn't win, she will always be a winner to me.
This election was really a tough one and I'm glad its over. Now lets get to work!

Applaudise?? CBN New Policy
Hands up- Market now decides- Make i rest biko |
For those who are still trying to understand what this policy stands for, read below what blogger Feyi Fawehinmi has to say about this new policy.
....
Today, the CBN went all the way to a float. To be clear, nobody ever floats their currency willingly — you are always forced into it. An example was ‘Black Wednesday’ which forced the UK to float the Pound in 1992. It was painful and embarrassing but you won't find anyone who wants to go back to pre-1992 here anymore.
The CBN has introduced something ‘new’ to the market, however. A new creature to be known as Foreign Exchange Primary Dealer (FXPD) has been created. CBN released a separate set of guidelines for these creatures.In the club, these FXPDs are the guys who will sit in the VIP section with CBN. If forex is champagne, these creatures will be served first before anybody else. But don’t panic, this is a good thing.

$2b Loan From China- Is It A Scam?
The internet has been buzzing for some days now over the $2b China plans to borrow to Nigeria. While to some people it is a welcome development, others are lamenting and insist it will be another form of slavery if we go ahead with it. This is a write up by two economist Amuchie & G. Otobor on the loan and they feel its a scam. What do you think?
Some Nigerians are jubilating over a $2b loan from China and the so nocknamed the Yuan trading deal. China wants to lend us 2 billion dollars, but they want to give us in Yuan and not the dollar itself.
They are not handing us cash, but service exchange; meaning if we want to buy iron rods, we buy it from a Chinese company and they pay the company on our behalf. If we want to construct a railway, they will construct it for us and deduct the money out of the loan. In the end, we are bound to award contracts to them, cutting out competition from others and fairplay to others (non Chinese companies can’t bid or compete to reduce the costs). They get to value the contract and determine the price, meaning they can sell something worth 200 Naira for N2000 and we don’t have a choice because it is on credit.
The worst of it is that China wants us to pay back in dollars, that is not all, we are moving our foreign reserve to fake currency (Yuan) a currency that is manipulated openly by the Chinese government. Did anyone ask Lamido Sanusi what happened to some of our reserves he moved to Yuan few years ago? They sold us Yuan at 4 to a dollar, only to devalue their currency few weeks later to 9 Yuan per $.

Video: Nigerians Are Truly Talented
Hey guys, i know it has come and tey..lol.
Well, i blame it on the hustle in Lagos and also the challenges involved in being a presenter. But that one no be excuse enough...winks. Well, today i decided to blog about how talented i think Nigerians are. If you ever had doubts about Nigerians and their talent, i guess the story below will clear your doubt. Before i start let me begin with a quote (i don't know who said it but its stuck up in my head)
''Education will never make you wealthy. Education will only give you a platform to express your gifts''
It is good for every child to have access to Education, what you do with this opportunity is then up to you. There is no human who isn't gifted, you just need to discover that thing which makes you happy and work towards it. Over the years, i have learnt that there are ways you can discover your talent and i will share with you. You need to ask yourself these questions in which only you can answer;
1- What is ''that thing'' that makes me smile whenever i do it?
2- What is ''that thing'' that people have told me that am good at?
3- What is also ''that thing'' that people have said jokingly that i do?
There is no way you wont discover your talent if you genuinely answer these questions.

If Love Were An Orphan, Will You Choose It?, By Ifeoma Samuel
I love good
write up. Saw this article online and decided to share with you. Read below;
Like every
other Sunday service, I walked in and took my seat on the side of the pew. Not
long after, I couldn’t help but notice the swarm of kids hovering around the
place like droves of birds.
All over, running, whispering and
holding each other as they approached the altar.
Tears welled up my eyes as I
struggled to pull myself together.
So what’s the big deal about this
scene?
They were no ordinary kids, they
were all orphans. I saw something that kicked my thoughts as I watched them
closely.
As funny as life goes, what makes
a huge difference is not fancy shoes, gorgeously decorated dresses or sweet
perfumeries, cool pleasantries, sophisticated homes or whatever tickles our
fairy tale imagination.
What makes real difference is
Love.
In the eyes of these orphans, I
saw smiles, joyful hearts. In the euphoria of the moment, I found peace
completely quietening my heart. That day I
chose love over my endless needs.
Shrugging my shoulders in awe as
their tender hearts echoed five lessons:
.
To love and to be love is a priceless gift. It doesn’t matter who gives it,
it is a blessing to be the one who is loved and a privilege to offer it in
return.
Hereby
perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought
to lay down our lives for the brethren. – 1 John 3:16

Zika Virus- Is this a sign of endtime?
Happy Sunday guys. Its the beginning of a new week. A lot of us in church today prayed for favour and grace for the week ahead. But did we even bother to pray for world peace and good health? Driving from church today, i heard on the radio how a new virus is rampaging in Brazil and now other countries have been alerted. Women are being advised not to get pregnant until 2018, this will give scientist time to find out how to get rid of the virus. This virus they say started in Africa and now people are wondering how come its affecting children in Brazil? While we are still trying to put an end to Ebola, Lassa fever, bird flu...a new one decided to surface. Haven't you ever wondered how all these sickness are linked to animals? Lets educate ourselves on what this virus is truly all about.
What is Zika?
Zika is a virus that is transmitted to humans by mosquitoes. This Aedes aegypti mosquito carries dengue fever and yellow fever. In 1940's it was discovered in Africa. This virus causes babies to be born with small heads
